ยุโรปตะวันออก (อังกฤษ: Eastern Europe) เป็นภูมิภาคทางตะวันออกของทวีปยุโรป ไม่มีคำจำกัดความที่สอดคล้องกับพื้นที่อย่างแม่นยำและครอบคลุม ซึ่งส่วนหนึ่งเพราะศัพท์นี้มีความหมายกว้างในเชิงภูมิรัฐศาสตร์, ภูมิศาสตร์, ชาติพันธุ์, วัฒนธรรม และ ประเทศรัสเซียเป็นทั้งประเทศที่มีและในทวีปยุโรป โดยกินพื้นที่เกือบร้อยละ 40 ของทวีป และประชากรมากกว่าร้อยละ 15 ของประชากรทั้งทวีป
